 Many people think that the profession of fortune-telling is just another profession and anyone who just knows how to do Tarot can do it. Is this really the case? Can anyone really become a fortune teller?

The profession: fortune-teller
There are many schools where people with an interest in esotericism can be educated. They prepare special programmes and also train fortune-tellers. Thus, it seems that it is enough to finish the appropriate course at the Institute of Applied Psychology in Warsaw or the Post-Secondary Study of Psychotronics in Krakow in order to engage in fortune-telling. However, experienced fortune tellers warn that a diploma alone, even from a renowned university, is not yet sufficient to practice this difficult and demanding profession.

What characterises a good fortune teller
Above all, the profession of fortune-teller requires empathy, as it involves contact with other people. You also need to have a keen sense of observation and the ability to communicate. Today, clients expect concrete information, not metaphorical interpretations. A true fortune teller does not promise miracles, nor does she give a single vision of the future, but shows various possibilities that bring comfort, because most often people come for a fortune teller's advice when they are frustrated, unhappy and in need of at least some hope. In such situations, the fortune teller becomes a psychologist, a therapist who should bring help. At the same time, the psychic has to be resistant to manipulation, because it happens that the client very much expects a specific prediction and does not want to hear at all about what the cards or runes show, but wants confirmation of his own vision. The psychic must be able to resist such pressure, because one cannot lie, even if the client wants to. In addition to this, a great deal of knowledge must be acquired - a course of study is useful, but it can never replace personal work, studying books or seeking out masters who are willing to share their knowledge. This is because knowledge alone is not enough - divination is like playing an instrument: theoretically, anyone can play, but there are those who, even after years of practice, can barely make a sound on their instrument, as well as those who, even as children, will become virtuosos. It is the same with divination - it is a kind of art. Specialisation is usually necessary in this profession - a fortune teller who deals with all possible methods of divination is not good at any of them. Therefore, the best ones choose one or two methods for themselves and in this they practice and improve until they reach proficiency, but technique, dexterity, diligence, knowledge - this is not everything. Passion and love are also needed, and not everyone has this.

Who should not be involved in divination?
This is not a job for people who have read about the high earnings of fortune-tellers on the Internet and have become convinced that they can do it too. With such an attitude, they will never be successful. It is not a job for those who do not like other people, because the fortune-teller has to establish contact with the person whose future he predicts, get to know him and, as it were, "look into" his soul. Divination is not for people who think they will be able to influence reality, control others or events thanks to the cards - inevitable disappointment awaits them. Nor should a fortune teller be a cowardly person who is afraid to put up cards for themselves or take responsibility for their fortune telling. a fortune teller who is a master of this art takes on a heavy load - not everyone is capable of carrying it.

High vibrations or what objects raise the energy of our dwelling?

 Our home, garden or flat say a lot about ourselves. It is at home that we rest, regenerate, gain strength, plan for the future and, increasingly, work (the world situation has, in a way, forced us to do so).

What is numerology?

 Starting from the name itself, numerology is the science of numbers. This definition, however, does not convey the meaning that this science brings with it. It sounds like we are talking about algebra, yet there is a significant difference between the two disciplines. Numerology, unlike the iron rules of mathematics, reads something more from numbers than is apparent at first glance. It reveals the future destiny, the hidden qualities and wisdoms of the Universe written in the individual numbers as in their combinations.

The origins of numerology

The origins of numerology can be traced back to ancient Egypt and, later, Babylonia. The priests had been using the symbolism of numbers since the 10th century BC. However, it was the Greek philosopher who made the importance of numerology fully famous. He was not only a mathematician and astrologer, but also a mystic, and thanks to his many journeys, including mainly his stay in Egypt, he began to give numbers a greater role. Pythagoras studied the world through numbers and discovered how they determine the environment. Everything can not only be measured, but through numbers much more can be read. His teaching was continued by his disciples, who are generally referred to as Pythagoreans.

The development of numerology was also hugely influenced by the Kabbalah. Jewish mystics believed that Yahweh had hidden the secret cipher of the world in the Scriptures. The science has its own name - gematria - and was based on the assumption that each letter of the alphabet had a numerical value. And it was these traditions that shaped later numerology as we know it today.

For sceptics who consider numerology to be magic tricks, it is worth adding that history knows of many scientists who manifested a fascination with numerology. These included the famous physicists Isaac Newton and Lord Kelvin.

Modern numerology

For centuries numerology did not flourish, it was slightly forgotten and the information associated with it was only available to a small circle of people. It was only revived in the 19th century when a well-known occultist introduced it as one of the methods he used. This was William John Warner, known as Cheiro. During his numerous travels, he learned about divination from many different peoples, and was associated with a Brahmin sect among others. It is to him that modern numerology owes the translation of the principles of Hebrew gematria into the application of Latin culture.

The real mother of modern numerology, however, was Sarah Joanna Dennis, known as L. Dow Balliett. She accurately described all the numbers derived from the alphabet, while also indicating whether they came out of vowels, consonants or both.

Vibrations of numbers

Numerology assumes that every number has a meaning. The most important is, of course, the date of birth. There are two ways of counting, either each digit is added, or in the day and month the whole numbers are added, so for example:

    1981 = 1+3+0+5+1+9+8+1=28=2+8=10=1+0=1

As you can see from the example, the digits are added together until you get a digit by 1 to 9. The exception is so-called master numbers, which consist of two identical digits, e.g. 11, 22, 33 etc. In this case, we no longer add them up.

However, these are not the only data from which we can draw inspiration in numerology - for numbers are hidden everywhere. According to Hebrew tradition, we also translate words into numbers. The most typical is to assign alphabetically to certain letters the digits 1 to 9 in turn, repeating up to the letter Z.

In this way, we can also calculate from our forenames and surnames which number favours us, e.g.:Jan Nowak = 1+1+5+1+6+5+1+2=22

In the case of this name, we have just come up with a master number, whose component digits we do not add up, although of course we can, which would give us a four.

Skeptics suggest that if numerology were true then the date of birth and the digit of the first and last name would always be the same. For is Jan Nowak born on 15. 05. 1981 favoured by 1 or 22? The answer is simpler than it might seem - both digits are equally valid.

Surrounded by numbers

Nothing in life is black and white - it is not possible to define a person on the basis of a single data, only all the signs form a complete picture. Numerology, tarot and horoscope do not contradict each other, but complement each other. It is the same with numerology itself - one person can be assigned several digits and their mutual vibration gives a complete person. Just look at several people born on the same day. They will have several characteristics in common, but they will not be the same after all.

Moreover, it should be noted that there are many more digits that influence a person's life. We can even influence it ourselves in some way. If someone has the number 12 in their diary at school, lives under the number 12 and important events take place, for example, on the 12th of the month, this person will quickly realise that 12 is their lucky number. No matter what vibration results from the name or date of birth. Such a person, when planning something, will gladly fix it on the 12th, confirming the power of this number in his life.

Few people, on the other hand, have a similar fondness for the number 13 - even those who do not believe in the power of numerology consider 13 to be unlucky, and 7 (at least in our cultural circle) to be lucky. These associations are extremely ingrained in people's minds. Real numerology is of course more complex, but this example proves that even sceptics succumb to the magic of numbers.

So it is worth remembering numerology, which has been known for millennia, can be a collection of important clues. Their role is not only to learn about ourselves, but also about others, to discover what to expect from someone or something. The ability to see the important numbers in our lives can prove very useful. All it takes is an open mind.

What is the déjà vu effect and why do we experience it?

 Does it sometimes seem to you that the situation you find yourself in has already happened to you before? The place is familiar, the chain of events seems familiar to you. Probably everyone has experienced this strange phenomenon, which is called déjà vu, often also referred to as a disturbance of memories. What is it caused by? You will find the answer by reading the rest of this article.

Deja vu is a situation that everyone has to deal with. Some people experience it more often, others less often. However, few people know what a disturbance of memories really is and why it occurs in their lives. It often evokes mixed feelings, and we take a moment to embrace what has just happened. Sometimes we start to recall what we did last time so that we can somehow connect the facts. However, after a few moments of reflection, we realise that such an identical situation never had the right to happen to us. This is déjà vu. The term means "already seen". The characteristics of this phenomenon are the suddenness of the occurrence, the feelings accompanying the event are brief, lasting only a few seconds, the impossibility of associating when we have experienced the same situation, déjà vu concerns a place, specific people and the situation as a whole and not a single element.

Unfortunately, the phenomenon of distorted memories is still shrouded in considerable mystery even for scientists. The occurrence of déjà vu can be the cause of illnesses such as migraine auras or accompany epileptic seizures. Sometimes we may have the feeling that something has already happened in our life, simply because an element is familiar to us from another situation. For example, if the chairs in a restaurant are very similar to those of our aunt, we may experience déjà vu even if we are in that place for the first time in our lives.

It may be interesting to note that déjà vu can be experienced by people who are blind. The abilities of the other senses are so strong that a certain sound can trigger the feeling of déjà vu. This phenomenon is most often experienced by young, overtired and stressed people, as well as travellers. Some believe that the disturbance of memories may be strongly linked to reincarnation, but this is a matter for personal reflection.
Unfortunately, we still know very little about the causes of the déjà vu phenomenon. Scientists are still researching this condition and trying to find out why it occurs. This phenomenon was already considered in the time of Socrates and Plato, so it is not something that has appeared in our time. The fact that it is taking so long to identify the reasons for experiencing this phenomenon seems somewhat disturbing, but at the same time fascinating.

How do you discover the power within yourself? On spiritual development

 The ability to read the future, travel in the astral plane or read minds are skills that every person would love to possess. It seems that in order to boast such an art, one must be born with the right gift. However, nothing could be further from the truth, for although innate talents are indeed significant, the true shaping of our powers is something we decide for ourselves. People endowed with paranormal powers are those who have reached their higher self, i.e. reached the highest level of spiritual development or one of the higher degrees. It is therefore not something everyone is born with, but something they work on and slowly achieve. No one is deprived of the possibility of achieving this, for everyone has the necessary potential, but unfortunately only a few try to use it.


In spiritual development, meditation is the most important and, in the case of the desire to discover power within oneself, it is also the basis. Spending at least a few minutes a day meditating will help to clear the mind, make us more open to stimuli from the Universe and at the same time allow us to feel inner harmony and peace. Meditation also does not require much preparation or complicated activities. We just need to find some time and a place where we can sit comfortably and, instead of the noise of the surrounding world, focus on ourselves. Listening to our own breath, we try to synchronise with it with all our senses. By thinking only of these rhythmic breaths, we move all bad emotions and experiences away from ourselves.


Meditation is precisely to clear our mind, allowing us to forget experiences, but analysing them is also an important element in our spiritual training. Before going to sleep, try to recall various situations from the day, but approach them not emotionally but rationally. Think about how you acted and how you could have acted, what would have been the best solution. Gradually, you will begin to notice the small mistakes you make that you were not even aware of. You will also then learn how to deal with them, and you will see a new perspective in how you perceive many things.


It is also important to work on the mind itself; it is, after all, nature's most perfect creation and hides unexplored possibilities, including the very power we can master. The right hemisphere, which is linked to the left side of the body, is responsible for creative abilities, so right-handed people need to practise left-handed activities and left-handed people vice versa. This will allow both of our hemispheres to work evenly and make the mind much more productive. This skill will not only be useful for spiritual development, but it will improve the comfort of our lives, we will have a better memory, concentration and more desire to work.

Last, but by no means least, is to trust your intuition. In a world of haste, universalisation and the imposition of certain patterns of behaviour, as well as the need to conform to society, intuition has been pushed into the shadows. It is treated as something irrational and unimportant and nobody takes it seriously. Worse still, most of us are not good at reading the signs that suggest our intuition is telling us something. The preceding points will fortunately sharpen our senses to the stimuli sent from both the Universe and ourselves. We will see that the slight sense of anxiety that sometimes overtakes us or the inexplicable euphoria are whispers from our soul, which wants to tell us how to behave in a given situation.
We will be surprised how, after a few months of following these cues, our senses and the way we perceive the world will develop. Our confidence in ourselves will definitely increase, and this is like the best way to reach the higher self.
